Being the Best IVR Breakdown

IVR The IVR have now become the accepted standard to instruct and train Rescue and Recovery Operators as part of the National Training and Certification Scheme specified by the National Highways Sector Scheme Sub-Committee (NHSS 17) The aim, is to provide Rescue and Recovery operators with the necessary knowledge and skills to improve standards of operation and safety throughout the industry.

Crossroads Truck and Bus Ltd are one of the few approved training centres in the north that are accredited to train and certify Technicians on VR1, 2 and 3 Core modules. As part of our commitment to Health and Safety and Customer focus we have carried out extensive development of our own employees on road side awareness and we can now offer the same award winning training to our customers.


Basic Electrics

Basic ElectricsDo you know how to use Multi-meters? Do you know the difference between 0: and OL?  Do you know what Voltage Drop means? Do you Know what the difference between Parallel and Series Circuits are?  What does pin 87a on a relay do? If you can answer yes to all these then this course is not for you!

If you have answered no to any of these then:- Crossroads Truck and Bus Ltd can offer you excellent training on Basic Auto Electrics, Learn about :- • Ohms and Watts Law • Basic wiring diagrams and circuits • How to use a Multi-meter • Basic Charging and Starting Circuits • Relays and switches • Fault finding logic and general fault tracing


Diagnostic Events

DiagnosticsModern Vehicles are fitted with advanced electronic control units and data links. The modern technician has to do more than just repair mechanical systems. Technician needs to know, basic electrics, wiring diagrams, data links and advanced aided diagnostics to be able to repair vehicles.

The course is designed for Technicians who have little electrical knowledge and develops the technician into understanding and repairing electronic systems.


Basic Air and Brakes

Do you know the difference between Primary and secondary circuits? Do you know what happens when a yellow service line brakes? If you can answer yes to all these then this course is not for you!

If you have answered no to any of these then:- Crossroads Truck and Bus Ltd can offer you excellent training on Basic Air and Brake systems, although based on the Volvo product the Valves and Circuits are generic to most vehicle types.
